Axial fan reducers are generally cylindrical gear reducers and bevel gear reducers. During the operation of the axial flow fan, it is very important to regularly check the gear contact accuracy and tooth tip corrosion of the axial flow fan reducer.

Once the gear of the axial flow fan reducer is damaged by pitting, the noise will increase, and the vibration, jitter or starting torque will increase significantly, and it should be checked and dealt with in time. During the inspection process, the gear runout detector can be used to check and determine gear operation problems. After the gear failure is determined, it should be replaced in time.

Axial fan gear maintenance precautions:
1. The use of high-quality lubricating oil can prolong the service life of gears and bearings;
2. The use of gear treasure can significantly improve the tooth surface finish;
3. The edge around the pitting pit is smooth and feels good, which can prevent pitting and make the temperature of the retarder oil 3~4℃.

Once the bearing of the axial flow fan reducer is damaged, it should be replaced immediately, and maintenance, regular inspection and maintenance should be carried out at ordinary times, which is beneficial to prolong the service life of the equipment.
